STEP 9 since you are the director of a firm, you need to obtain an employment visa (çalışma izni). If you do not want to be an acting director, you may not receive an employment visa. No one will forbid you to be in his office or on the territory of the company.

If you want to be an acting director, then you need to get an electronic signature for the company (it looks like a flash drive for me), initially, an accountant can help you with this, but as a rule he will refer you to those who do it.

In Turkey they love the division of labor. No one climbs into the field of activity of another if this is not his main activity. It surprised me a lot in the first years, but now I'm just used to it.

Further through the siteecalismaizni.csgb.gov.tryou, or people trained to do so, are applying for a work visa. The first time a work visa is given for 1 year, then for 2 years and, it seems, further for 3 years.

It's not that hard to get your first work visa. There, by the way, documents on the contribution of the authorized capital, various certificates from the tax chamber of commerce, SGC, which your accountant can collect for you, will come in handy. You will see the list of required documents when applying on the website. Payment is made after the approval of the application. You will see the amount of payment of duties and fees on the website.

After a year, you will need to extend your work visa. This is where the article of the law on the need to hire 5 working citizens of Turkey comes into play. According to the TR Law, 5 Turkish citizens must work for you for at least 6 months at the time of applying for an extension of a work visa. In fact, it seems to me that you can allow it positively, even if 5 Turkish citizens work for you at the time of application (but this is not certain).

INCOMPLETE: there is one moment that is incomprehensible to me, if you are the only founder and are a director and do not hire 5 Turkish citizens, then how does your company even exist? In theory, the tax authorities have the right to block your accounts and suspend activities (but this is not certain). It is interesting to know what will happen, how and when. As soon as I get reliable information I will write about it here (if I don’t forget)

Next, if you suddenly want to hire a foreign citizen to work, then in order to obtain a work visa for each such foreign citizen, you will need to hire 5 Turkish citizens. In fact, if you have a large company and you, for example, work in the field of tourism, then this rule stops working. There are some nuances that you can discuss with your accountant. Well, since you are a large firm, you will already have your own staff of lawyers, etc., etc. This post is not for them 😊, they have their own "cockroaches"
